I love the staff. They are very nice, and very attentive to their customers needs and/ or wants. They keep a clean hotel, and are very fair, and understandable. Great service!!!! I would recommend this motel to everyone I know. I would honestly say that The Red Apple Inn is the very best motel on Michigan Avenue from Southfield hwy to interstate I-94. WONDERFUL PLACE, GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

As advertised, the location is what it is but the room was remarkably clean, staff was professional and no-nonsense, very strict about noise and conduct on the property. Things were pretty quiet, housekeeping didn't disturb me while I was asleep during the day, the place is so solidly built you hardly hear the train as it passes behind the building much less your neighbors.

Has everything I can expect of a $58 hotel: friendly and helpful staff, clean room, working facilities, reasonable location. The floor is not covered by carpet, which I much prefer over when there's carpet, since no filth could possibly hide inside.
